河北建材职业技术学院隶属河北省教育厅。地处美丽的海滨城市秦皇岛，位于西部高校园区。自然与人文环境俱佳，是理想的办学之地。

学院占地235亩，总建筑面积16万多平方米，资产总值1.5亿元；馆藏各类图书80万余册；有校内实训中心8个，实训室55个，计算机1200台，耀华玻璃集团、冀东发展集团、深圳南玻等校外实训基地91个；占地400余亩的新校区正在紧张的建设之中。

学院师资力量雄厚，正高级职称33人，152人具有硕士以上研究生学历或学位，“双师型”教师占比在70%以上。设有六系四部教学机构，开设49个专业，在校生9000多人。

2012年由河北省商务厅、省教育厅、省人力资源和社会保障厅联合批准成立河北省服务外包培训基地。培训基地依托学院信息系，拥有完善的教学设施，过硬的师资队伍和学院的大力支持。坚持以科学发展观为指导，依托河北建材职教集团和学院的区位优势及专业优势、人才优势，积极探索，大胆创新，加强校企合作，服务区域经济，为河北省服务外包企业输送、培养、培训服务外包人才，为河北省及京、津地区的产业发展提供技术及人力资源的支持。

Hebei Building Material Vocational and Technical College is subordinate to the Education Department of Hebei Province. The college is located in the beautiful coastal city of Qinhuangdao and west university campus. Natural and human environment is superb, which is an ideal place to run a school.

The college covers an area of 235 acres, with a total construction area of over 160,000 ㎡, total assets of 150 million yuan; collection of 800,000 copies of various books; 8 school training centers, 55 training rooms, 1200 computers, 91 training bases outside like Yaohua Glass Group, Jidong Development Group, and China Southern Glass Holding Co.,Ltd. etc.;The new campus covers an area of 400 acres is under construction.

The faculty of the college is strong, 33 teachers have senior professional titles, 152 teachers have master's graduate certificate or degree, and Double-qualified teachers accounted for more than 70%. Teaching institutions of the college has six departments and four sections; there are 49 specialties and more than 9,000 students.

In 2012, Service Outsourcing Training Base of Hebei Province is founded by the approval of the Department of Commerce of Hebei Province, the Provincial Department of Education, Provincial Human Resources and Social Security jointly. The training base relies on college of information department, with better teaching facilities, excellent teachers and strong support of college. Adhering to the scientific concept of development, relying on regional advantages and professional advantages of Hebei Building Material Vocational Education Group and colleges, personnel advantages, actively explore, bold innovation, and to strengthen the cooperation between schools and enterprises and service area economy, the base delivery, culture and train service outsourcing talents for service outsourcing enterprises in Hebei Province, and provide technical and human resources support for industrial development in Hebei Province and Beijing, Tianjin.
