廊坊经济技术开发区成立于1992年6月，位于中国环渤海经济圈的中心，首都北京和天津之间，辖区面积69.4平方公里，2009年升级为国家级经济技术开发区，被媒体评为“中国二十佳投资区”之一，目前已汇聚了来自全球30多个国家和地区2000多家企业，是一个创新，积极，热情的开发区。

廊坊经济技术开发区优先发展高端制造业和现代服务业。廊坊服务外包基地于2008年被河北省信息产业厅、科技厅授牌“河北省服务外包示范区”。

LFDZ was founded in June 1992, located at the center of the Bohai Rim economic Circle, between Beijing and Tianjin, with total area of 69.4km². By 2009, LFDZ was promoted to be a State-level development zone as approved by the state council. As one of the “Top 20 best Development Zones in China” recommended by the media, there are up to now about 2000 companies from over 30 countries and regions gathered here. The LFDZ gives priority to the development of High-end Manufacturing and Modern Service industry. Langfang BPO Base was authorized the title as “Model BPO Base of Hebei Province” by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Hebei Province and Sic-Tech Department of Hebei Province by year 2008.
